MATCHUP PREVIEW
Howard (11-17, 7-8 MEAC) seeks momentum in their final road game of the season. As of today, HU holds the sixth spot; however, the Bison have a chance to move up to fifth with a win and Morgan State loss at Delaware State. On the flip side, a road loss could drop Coach Grace's bunch as low as eighth.
If HU clinches the fifth or sixth spot, they will play Monday (March 5). If Howard falls to seventh or eighth, the Bison will play Tuesday (March 6).
Coppin State (6-21, 5-10 MEAC) enters Thursday's showdown on a seven-game slide after falling to crosstown rival Morgan State, 73-59. Senior Genesis Lucas leads the Eagles, averaging 16.2 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.8 steals. Sophomore Chance Graham, Preseason All-MEAC selection, is a double-double machine, posting 12.9 ppg and 10.5 rpg. Currently, CSU sits in the 10
th spot, but have an opportunity to jump to ninth with a victory and South Carolina State loss at Savannah State.
