December 21, 2018 --- The Howard University women's basketball team will visit the University of Cincinnati for a 7 p.m. matchup today.

Howard women's basketball dropped its last home game to Mercer, 85-70. Howard shot just 27% (12-of-43) from the field in the first half. In the second haf the Bison improved their shooting percentage to 48.4%.
Jayla Thornton led the Bison with 20 points on 6-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Junior
Ayonna Williams added 14 points and seven rebounds.

This is the third meeting between Cincinnati and Howard. The Bison have only won the first meeting between the two teams. The Bearcats have taken the last two games. In their last matchup the Bearcats won, 87-53, on their home court.
