WASHINGTON  – With the transition of Hampton University to the Big South Conference the Battle of the Real HU seemed to be a contest of the past. But, on Saturday, Dec. 22, the Howard University Bison will take on the Hampton University Pirates for the Battle of the Real HU as the second game of the DC Holiday Hoopsfest tournament. The four-team tourney will take place at EventDC's new Entertainment & Sports Arena (1100 Oak Drive SE, Washington, DC 20032).
 
Preceding Howard's 5 p.m. match, the University of Richmond Spiders will square off against the High Point University Spiders at 2:30 p.m.
 
Howard University fans are welcome to a pre-game mixer in the annex of the sports arena sponsored by D.C. Smokehouse from 3 – 5:30 p.m.
