NORFOLK, Va. (September 13, 2017) – Senior Mohamed Bah was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Last Saturday (Sept. 9), Bah won in the individual title in the Delaware State Hornets Invitational after turning in a 16:16.30 on the 5K course. He defeated the second-place runner to the line by nearly eight seconds and currently boasts the MEAC's best time in that distance.
 
Freshman Feven Fessehatzion also received honorable mention after running a 21:07.10 to finish fifth in the Delaware State Hornet Invitational.
 
On Sept. 15, the Bison return to Smyrna, Del. for the DSU Farm Run. Meet time is slated for 3 p.m.
