WASHINGTON (November 27, 2017) – After a four-game road trip, Coach Ty Grace and the Howard University Women's Basketball team return home where the Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU) Knights await. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. inside Burr Gymnasium.

HU (0-5) returns to the Mecca in search for its first win of the season. After four tough road games, the Bison look to get back on track offensively. Sophomore guard Sarah Edmond leads the squad in scoring, posting 10 PPG, while freshman guard Curstyn Moore is second on the team (9.6 PPG). Defensively, sophomore center Jayla Myles averages 1.2 BPG, which is eighth in the conference.
 
Fairleigh Dickinson (5-1) enters Tuesday's game with their best start since the 1996-97 season. FDU ranks among the NEC leaders in several categories, including scoring defense, scoring margin, field goal percentage, rebounding defense, turnover margin, assist:turnover ratio. Peter Cinella enters his 11^th season at the helm and he is led by All-NEC Third Team honoree Amina Markovic.

Saturday (Nov. 25), the Bison came up short at Siena, 72-61.
 
HU shot a season-best at the foul line, eclipsing 71-percent (12-of-17), including 10-of-12 after intermission.
 
Edmond led the way with a game-high 22 points, including a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.
 
Senior guard Tajzhane Dopson chipped in 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field while grabbing six boards.
