Lewis Named MEAC Rookie of the Week; Daniel, Collins Honorable Mention

WASHINGTON, DC --- Cameron Lewis has been named the Mid_Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week following his performance in last week's game at Central Michigan. A 6-8, 220-pound freshman forward from Buffalo, NY, Lewis came off the bench to score six points, grab five rebounds and block a shot in the game.

James "J-Byrd" Daniel, III and Damon Collins received honorable mention. Daniel, the nation's leading scorer at 28 points per game, led all scorers with 19 points--including 8 of 9 from the free throw line--while Collins added 14 points, seven rebounds and an assist.
