NORFOLK, VA --- Sophomore outside hitter Khaila Donaldson has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Volleyball Player of the Week, the league announced today. The Player of the Week honor is the first of Donaldson's career and the fourth weekly award she has received from the conference after earning three Rookie of the Week accolades in 2014.

Howard played a pair of matches during the award span of October 19-25 and Donaldson, a 5-11 native of Vernon Hills, IL, averaged a double-double of kills and digs in four set wins against Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State. She recorded 15 kills in each match and totaled 27 digs, three assists, two total blocks and a service ace as well. 

Donaldson joins junior outside hitter Katherine Broussard as Player of the Week winners from Howard this season - having done so in back-to-back weeks.
