JACKSONVILLE, FL --- Senior midfielder
Courtland Lackey scored a pair of goals and logged an assist on a third as the Howard women's lacrosse team fell to the defending Atlantic Sun champion Jacksonville Dolphins 24-3 on Friday afternoon at D.B. Milne Field.
Lackey put Howard (1-13, 0-4 A-Sun) on the board with an unassisted score with 26:37 remaining in the first half after Jacksonville (11-5, 4-0 A-Sun) opened the game with four straight goals. Her second goal came at the 19:12 mark with a free position shot to make the score 11-2.

Cynithia Smalls after Lackey set up the senior attack with 21:32 to go in the game.

Taylor Gainey each netted game highs in the contest - seven draw controls for Smalls and five ground balls for Gainey.
The Lady Bison will conclude their 2014 season on Sunday, April 27 with a 1:00 pm A-Sun matchup with Stetson University.
