LEWISBURG, PA --- Senior attack Cynithia Smalls led the Howard women's lacrosse team with four goals in a 22-8 loss to Bucknell University on Tuesday afternoon at Graham Field.

Smalls, who is just one goal shy of the all-time lacrosse scoring record at Howard (0-9), netted three of her goals midway through the first half, and scored her last one in the game's final minute. Smalls now has 17 goals this season after scoring 50 in 2013.

Junior Midfielder Jaymie Cox contributed two goals for the Lady Bison, with one of her goals cutting Bucknell's lead to three. Senior Midfielder Courtland Lackey added a pair of scores for the Lady Bison, both early in the first half and late in the second.

Freshman goalkeeper Jasmine Wilson recorded 14 saves in the loss. 

The Lady Bison return on Washington, DC to take on fellow HBCU Delaware State Hornets on Thursday, April 3 at 4 pm at Greene Stadium.
