WINTER HAVEN, FL --- Day 3 of Howard's trip to the Rebel Spring Games ended with the Lady Bison still searching for its first win at the invitational, dropping two games against Utah Valley and Indiana State.

HOWARD 2, UVU 16
Freshman Imani Ballard went 2-of-3 with an RBI to lead Howard against Utah Valley. Junior Jenny Ly also went 2-of-3 and freshman Milan Poindexter drove in the Lady Bison's other run.

In HU's second game of the day, the Lady Bison bats were silenced by a complete game one-hitter by Indiana State's Yvette Alvarez. 

Junior Al'Asia Davis registered the team's only hit as Howard struggled at the plate, going a combined 1-of-17 with five strikeouts.
