WINTER HAVEN, FL --- The Howard softball played its last pair of contests at the Rebel Spring Games on Friday and was unable to snap its losing streak as the Lady Bison fell to Saint Peter's and Albany.
HOWARD 6, SPU 8
The Lady Bison posted one of its best offensive efforts of the season, getting 11 hits and scoring six runs in a losing effort against the Peacocks. SPU only managed seven hits of their own but were able to produce eight runs from them.
Howard was led by sophomore
Sade Estes, who went 2-of-2 with a pair of singles and an RBI. Overall, HU went 11-of-29, with all 11 hits being singlesÂ
HOWARD 3, ALBANY 11
Senior
Ashley Turner went 1-of-2 with a double and two of Howard's three runs in their loss to the Danes. HU would score their three runs in the fifth inning but the game would be called because of Albany scoring four runs in the first and fourth and three in the second.
