WASHINGTON, DC --- For the final time in the year 2014, the Howard women's basketball team will play host at Burr Gymnasium as the Lady Bison look to win their first non-conference home game of the year against visiting Temple University at 5 p.m.

Howard (1-9) returns to The Burr after a tough 74-83 loss to LIU Brooklyn in New York on December 14. Redshirt sophomore guard Te'Shya Heslip was one of four Lady Bison to score in double figures and fell two assists shy of a triple double (22 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists).

Temple (3-7) has seen its own set of struggles, having gone 0-4 on their rercent homestand. 

HU (1-3 all time vs Temple) will look to earn its first win over the Owls since former Howard great Saadia Doyle scored 32 points in a 61-58 home victory on January 4, 2013.
