NORFOLK, Va. (April 1, 2026) – The MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) uncovered its men's track & field weekly accolades where Howard University sophomore jumper Drew Dillard (Silver Spring, Md.) took home the league's Field Athlete of the Week. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon.
 
At the UCF Knights Invite (March 27-28) in Orlando, Fla., Dillard won the high jump with a MEAC-best 2.15 meters, which ranks ninth nationally.
 
Coppin State senior Solomon Hammond was named MEAC Track Athlete of the Week.
 
On April 2-4, Howard is set to head down to Austin, Texas for the annual Texas Relays.
