WASHINGTON (September 4, 2025) – Howard University women's soccer team fell short at crosstown rival George Washington (GW), 1-0, despite outshooting the Revolutionaries, 19-15.
At the 30-minute mark, Kalia Kau found Kathleen Ngulefac for the match's lone score.
Collectively, 12 Bison recorded a shot on the afternoon, led by senior forward
Jaileen De Freitas (Miramar, Fla.) with four attempts. Second-year Bison
Sinclaire Green (Ellicott City, Md.) registered three tries in the loss.
Defensively, junior goalie
Trinity Knox (Atlanta) notched a save for the Bison.
GW's Kate Silverstein tallied five saves in the victory.
The Bison return home to face La Salle Sunday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m., inside Greene Stadium.
