WASHINGTON (September 26, 2025) — Howard University women's swimming grabbed second place at the annual Potomac Relays, hosted by American University (AU).
Collectively, the Bison tallied 422 points with four first-place finishes.
Seniors
Samyra Benoit (Santa Clarita, Calif.) and
Zuilda Nwaeze (Columbia, Md.) and juniors
Rhanishka Gibbs (Nassau, Bahamas) and
Chanice Posada (Houston) began the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay, clocking in at 1:45.49.

Alyssa Napier (Wilmington, Del.) and
Zenya Posada (Norwalk, Conn.) took first in the 3x100 Fly Relay, producing a 2:54.30 mark.

Jasmine Morgan (Chicago) grabbed gold in the 500 Free Relay with a 4:36.89 time.

Gabrielle Vickles (El Dorado, Trinidad & Tobago) capped off the afternoon, winning the 200 Free Relay (1:35.96).
AU won its annual event, posting 450 points.
On Oct. 4, HU hosts Georgetown in the annual Battle at the Burr. First-race is slated for 2 p.m., inside Burr Gym Pool.
