WASHINGTON (August 26, 2025) – UK Athletics revealed its Novuna Great Britain and Northern Ireland (GB & NI) Team where Howard University All-American
Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom) made the squad. The announcement came Tuesday.
Sey is set to represent GB & NI in the women's short hurdles (100-meter).
In June, she had her best performance in a Bison uniform, winning bronze in the 100-meter hurdles with a 12.93 time at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Her third-place finish at Eugene is the highest in program history. Additionally, the British native received All-American First Team honors.
Sey joins former Bison standout
Dylan Beard in Toyoko after posting a qualifying time of 13.04 at the Toyota USATF Outdoor & Para National Championships in Eugene. Three-time MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Champion punched his ticket to represent Team USA.
Both Bison are set to compete in the 2025 Tokyo World Championships (Sept. 13-21).
