OTTAWA, Ontario (July 28, 2025) – Former Howard University standout
Everett Whiten Jr. competed at the Commissionaires Ottawa Open. The four-day event took place at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Ottawa, Ontario.
In 72 holes of action, Whiten shot 11-under par (277), including a 66 (-6) in round two.
On Day Three, he made the cutline after firing 9-under par (207) in 54 holes. The cutline was 6-under par (210).
In the final round, Whiten posted a 2-under par (70) performance to close out the tourney.
In his final season, the Virginia native earned All-NEC First Team honors while leading the program to its first Northeast Conference (NEC) title and berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Brett White won the 2025 Commissionaires Ottawa Open, defeating Danny Fisher in a two-hole playoff. White, Fisher and Nathan Franks shot 26-under par (262) over the four-day span.
