ANNAPOLIS, Md. (April 8, 2025) – Howard University men's tennis team dropped its road match at Navy, 4-0.
 
Navy (20-14) grabbed the upper hand early, winning a pair of contests in doubles play.
 
Senior Marcel Dawson (Columbus, Ga.) and sophomore Michael Major Jr (Nassau, Bahamas) represented Bison Nation as the team's top doubles squad where their match was denoted unfinished.
 
In singles play, the Mids won three matches in straight sets.
 
Major and Dawson served in the No. 1 and No. 2 singles slots, respectively, with each contest unfinished.
 
On April 11, the Bison (5-12) will head to Baltimore to take on Morgan State in conference play. Match time is slated for 2 p.m.
