PHILADELPHIA (April 26, 2025) – Howard University men's track & field team competed at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia where several Bison placed top 8 in multiple events.
On the track, graduate
Goba Dan-Princewill (Houston) finished fourth overall in the 100-meter dash, clocking in at 10.60.
Fellow classmate
Noah Langford (Virginia Beach, Va.) took seventh place in the 400-meter hurdles, recording a 51.04 time.
In the field, seniors
Kyle Fisher (Duluth, Ga.) and
Sean Wray (Stafford, Va.) earned fifth (7.42 meters) and eighth (7.02 meters), respectively, in the long jump. The Georgia native, along with DMV product senior
Chase Drewery (Waldorf, Md.), participated in the triple jump, landing sixth (14.23 meters) and seventh (14.15 meters), respectively.
Rookie
Ashton McCullers (Washington) tied for sixth in the pole vault, catapulting nearly 16 feet (4.85 meters).
HU gears up for the Aggie Classic (May 2-3), hosted by fellow HBCU North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C. This will the final outdoor meet ahead of the 2025 MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Outdoor Championships (May 15-17) in Norfolk, Va.
