BALTIMORE (April 16, 2025) – Howard University women's tennis team extended its win streak to three after topping rival Morgan State (MSU), 5-2, in Baltimore.
Howard grabbed the early match lead, 1-0, winning two-out-of-three in doubles play.

Nadia Pegram (Naples, Fla.) and sophomore
Imani Jean (Brooklyn, N.Y.) represented Bison Nation as the squad's top doubles team, knocking off MSU's Lauryn Hall and Hannah Smith, 6-4.
Senior
Jordan Grayson (Gaithersburg, Md.) and second-year Bison
Ava Chambers (Wellington, Fla.) secured the early match lead, downing the Lady Bears' Tyler Williams and Julia Jeffrey, 6-2.
In the singles competition, Grayson defeated Smith in three sets (6-7 [7-4], 6-2, 6-2).
Pegram, senior
Sifa Butcher (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and sophomore
Dana Hall (Miami) won their respective singles matches in straight sets.
HU (8-7, 3-2 MEAC) wraps up its nonconference slate Friday (April 18) at Navy. First-serve at 3 p.m. The next day (April 19), Howard hosts Coppin State in its regular season finale on Senior Day. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
