NORFOLK, Va. (March 27, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its men's and women's track & field weekly awards where Howard University saw a pair of Bison recognized for their efforts at the USF Alumni Invitational (March 21-22), hosted by the Bulls. The announcement came Wednesday (March 26).
Graduate hurdler
Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom) won MEAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week while senior jumper
Kyle Fisher (Duluth, Ga.) took home Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
Sey grabbed gold in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking in at a MEAC-best 13.11, which ranks third in the nation.
Fisher earned seventh overall in the long jump, leaping a league-best 7.39 meters, which sits 19
th in the country.

Jazmyn Wajd received honorable mention.
Norfolk State sophomore Premier Wynn was named MEAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week while Morgan State freshman Keira Stewart earned Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
The program will compete in two meets next weekend: Raleigh Relays (March 27-29) and Texas Relays (March 27-29).
