WASHINGTON (March 15, 2025) – Howard University women's tennis team fell to Cornell, 4-0, at the Banneker Recreation Center in D.C.
 
Cornell (8-3) grabbed the early match lead, 1-0, after winning a pair of doubles contests.
 
In singles play, senior 
Nadia Pegram (Naples, Fla.) served in the No. 1 spot where she held a 2-1 lead in the third set against Cornell's Michelle Ryndin before the match was declared unfinished.
 
Fellow classmate 
Jordan Grayson (Gaithersburg, Md.) found herself going into a third and deciding set versus Big Red's Emma Baker, but the contest was also declared unfinished.
 
Cornell went on to win three singles matches to claim the match, 4-0.
 
On March 22, Howard (4-5) hosts Wagner College at the Banneker Recreation Center in D.C. First-serve is slated for 2 p.m.
