WILMINGTON, Del. (February 1, 2025) – Howard University men's tennis team fell on the road at Delaware, 7-0.
In doubles play, sophomores
Michael Major, Jr. (Nassau, Bahamas) and
Kendrick Lash (Winston-Salem, N.C.) served HU in the No. 1 spot where they fell to Delaware's Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie, 6-2.
In singles competition, graduate
Hassimiyou Dieng (Dakar, Senegal) competed in the No. 5 slot where he battled before falling to the Blue Hens' Aristotelis Bezianis in straight sets (5-7, 3-6).
Friday (Feb. 7), both teams host Temple at the WTEF East Capitol Campus. First-serve at 12:30 p.m.
