MEN
On the track, graduate sprinter
Goba Dan-Princewill (Houston) leads the league with a 21.18 mark in the 200-meter dash, which ranks 47
th in the country.
Junior
Jorim Bangue (Yaoundé, Cameroon) is among the top short hurdlers (60-meter) in the country with time of 7.86 (48
th in the nation).
In the field, senior
Kyle Fisher (Duluth, Ga.) competes in the long jump, leaping a league-leading 7.51 meters (24'7.75"), which ranks 33
rd in the nation.
WOMEN
Graduate
Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom), two-time MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Track Athlete of the Week, ran a conference-best 8.13 in the 60-meter hurdles, ranking eighth in the country.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Jan. 25, HU competed in the Penn 10 Elite, hosted by the Quakers.
On the men's side, fifth-year Bison
Zachary Hawkins (Lithonia, Ga.) led the way, earning third (7.90) in the short hurdles (60-meter). In the field, senior
Sean Wray (Stafford, Va.) took part in the long jump where he leaped 7.34 meters (fourth place).
For the women, graduate sprinter
Kailei Collins (Houston) led the way with a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash (7.46). Graduate
Nneka Ezeama (Smithfield, R.I.) threw the shot put, tossing a new program-best 14.62 meters (fifth).
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Feb. 8, Howard returns to the City of Brotherly Love (Philadelphia) for the third time this indoor season, competing at the Penn Classic, hosted by the Quakers.
