CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (September 8, 2024) – No. 4 Virginia (UVA) scored three times after intermission to down the Howard University women's soccer team, 4-0, in Charlottesville, Va.

With the setback, HU dropped to 1-3-3 while the Cavs remained unbeaten entering conference play (7-0).

After taking a 1-0 halftime lead, thanks to a goal from Samar Guidry, Virginia kept the pressure on.

UVA's Ella Carter extended the lead at the 55-minute mark, 2-0, followed by another score from Kiki Maki ('73), 3-0.

With less than five minutes left, Allie Ross added an insurance goal, 4-0.
