WASHINGTON (September 27, 2024) – Howard University women's golf team returns to action on a quick turnaround, heading to Annapolis, Md., for the Navy Fall Invitational, hosted by the Mids. The two-day, 36-hole event takes place at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club (par-72, 6,084 yards).
 
Both days are scheduled for 9 a.m., shotgun times.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
 
The Mids have hosted the Navy Fall Invitational in five of the past eight years.
 
This year's field includes Howard, Navy, Bryant, Citadel, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, LIU, Monmouth, Mount St. Mary's, Queens, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, Towson and Wagner.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
On Sept. 23-24, HU tied for seventh overall at the Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by the Mizzou Tigers. The event took place at the Club at Old Hawthorne (par-72, 6,264 yards) in Columbia, Mo.
 
HU shot 32-over par (608), led by All-NEC selection senior Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas). The Texas native fired 3-over par (147) in two rounds of action, tying for 10th overall.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
On Oct. 14-16, HU travels across the pond to Scotland for the St. Andrews Link Collegiate.
