FAIRFAX, Va. (April 6, 2024) – Howard University women's tennis team rebounded after Friday's (April 5) tough loss, spoiling DMV rival George Mason's Senior Day with a 4-0 victory in Fairfax, Va.
HU (8-9) grabbed the early match lead, winning a pair of doubles contests.

Nadia Pegram (Naples, Fla.) and freshman
Imani Jean (Brooklyn, N.Y.) secured their fourth straight doubles win together, blanking the Patriots' Emily Wirt and Jenin Alasadi, 6-0.
Junior
Sifa Butcher (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and rookie
Dana Hall (Miami) topped Mason's Lauren Splet and Mailys Faur, 6-4.
In singles competition, Hall, Jean and Pegram won their respective matches in straight sets.

Jordan Grayson (Gaithersburg) led their respective singles matches before they were declared unfinished.
On Monday (April 15), Howard gets ready for an exhilarating match as they gear up to take on Coppin State in Baltimore.
