WESTON HILLS, Fla. - Howard women's golf starts the season off strong claiming first place in the Inaugural Arcis HBCU Golf Collegiate Championship held in Weston Hills, Fla.
The Bison led in each round posting 303 on day one followed by two rounds of 304 for a final total of 911. HU outlast the competition by 31 points shooting 47 over par.
Standout golfer
Kendall Jackson led the Bison and the competition earning the top honor after posting rounds of 70, 74, and 71 finishing 1 under par.
The Bison are back in action on March 4th when they kick off the Lady Bison Invitational held in Gainesville, Fla. The event will hold a practice round March 3rd and run through the 5th.
