The second half held a similar rhythm until the final moments.
Watching the build-up unfold in front of her, MTSU senior Eleanor Gough (Milton Keynes, England) positioned herself to the right of the net ready to connect with the ball given the chance. With 3:48 left in the game, Faith Adje (Frisco, Texas) sent a ball in Gough's direction to give the Blue Raiders the only point of the match.
Senior Marli Berry (Orangevale, Calif.) led the Bison offense with two shots on goal while newcomer goalie Trinity Knox (Atlanta) recorded four saves in the 90 minutes.
The Bison are back in action Sunday (Sept. 3) at 1 p.m. when they host the Longwood Lancers.
