BESSEMER, Ala. (May 9, 2023) – Howard University women's golf team slipped to third after round two of the PGA Works Collegiate Championships, shooting 32-over par (320) on the afternoon at Shoal Creek Club (par-72, 5,969 yards).
Overall, the Bison shot 611 (+39) in two days of work.

Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) and graduate
Kyra Cox (South Salem, N.Y.) led the way with a pair of top 10 performances.
Jackson is tied for third with Texas A&M Corpus-Christi's (TAMCC) Maria Beltran after shooting five-over par (148) in 36 holes. Tuesday, she recorded a 76 (+4) on the afternoon with five birdies, including four on the front nine.
For Cox, the New York native produced an 80 (+8) Tuesday afternoon and sits tied for sixth in the player standings (152, +9).
TAMCC leads the pack, registering 306 (+18) on the day and 589 (+17) in two rounds. Texas A&M Corpus Christi's Lucia Ramirez and Lucie Charbonnier are first (143, E) and second (145, +2), respectively.
The action concludes Wednesday (May 10) with the third and final round, beginning at 9 a.m.
