FARMVILLE, Va. (April 10, 2023) – Longwood University (LU) topped the Howard University men's tennis team, 7-0, in a nonconference showdown.
 
After sweeping all three doubles match, the Lancers took a 1-0 match lead into singles play.
 
All-MEAC selection junior Justin Cadeau (West Orange, N.J.) served as the club's top singles player where he fell to LU's Guillermo Cagigas in three sets (6-2, 1-6, 3-6).
 
Longwood controlled throughout the day, winning the other five singles contests in straight sets.
 
On April 12, HU (3-10) battles Navy in Annapolis, Md., in its final nonconference match. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
