ELKTON, Md. (March 6, 2023) – Howard University men's tennis team fell on the road against Delaware, 7-0, in nonconference play.
 
After sweeping doubles match, the Blue Hens won all six singles contests.
 
Junior Justin Cadeau (West Orange, N.J.) served as the club's top singles player, falling to Delaware's James Wilkinson in straight sets (3-6, 1-6).
 
Fellow classmate Gabe Knowles (Allentown, Pa.) competed in the No. 5 spot where he retired due to injury.
 
With the loss, HU dropped to 2-5 overall while the Blue Hens improved to 9-1 on the season.
 
On March 16-18, Howard travels to Cary, N.C., for the annual Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Round Up. HU squares off against Norfolk State (March 16), North Carolina Central (March 17) and South Carolina State (March 18).
