BETHLEHEM, Pa. (February 12, 2023) – Howard University women's tennis team came up short against Lehigh, 4-3, in Bethlehem, Pa.
HU (0-2) took the early match lead after winning two-out-of-three doubles matches.

Jordan Grayson (Gaithersburg, Md.) and reigning league Rooke of the Week
Selah Stibbins (Minneapolis) defeated Lehigh's Allyce Gaborik and Junmoke James, 6-4.
Senior
Yemisi Ifederu (London, England) and second-year Bison
Sifa Butcher (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) took down the Mountain Hawks' Bella Peters and Hamsa Javagal, 6-4.
In singles play, Butch and Stibbins won their respective contests in straight sets.

Alexandra Blackwell (Austin, Texas) dropped tough, three set bouts.
Next weekend (Feb. 17-19), HU hosts multiple contests at the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation's East Capitol Campus in Southeast D.C.
On Feb. 17, the women face John Hopkins. The next day (Feb. 18), the Bison meet Villanova.
