BETHLEHEM, Pa. (September 30, 2022) – Howard University men's & women's cross country teams continued its 2022 campaign in Bethlehem, Pa., for the annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Leigh University.
 
Seniors 
Ayoade Adebiyi (Virginia Beach, Va.) and 
Melanie White (Orlando, Fla.) led the Bison with solid performances.
 
On the men's side, Adebiyi posted a 25:18.80 in the 8K, earning him the second-fastest time in school history. Sophomore 
Julian Lawson (Sewell, N.J.) was the second Bison to cross the finish line, registering a 26:24.30 mark.
 
For the women, White recorded a 22:39.50 time, which placed her second all-time on the program's leaderboard. Fellow classmate 
Breanna McDonald (Bethesda, Md.) and second-year Bison 
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) also landed in the school record book, producing 22:43.00 (third all-time) and 23:27.00 (fifth all-time), respectively.
 
On Oct. 15, HU wraps up the regular season in Newark, Del., for the Delaware Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware. The meet starts at 9:30 a.m.
