WASHINGTON (April 27, 2022) – Howard University women's lacrosse team closed out its home slate with a 21-1 loss versus Mount St. Mary's (Md.) at Greene Stadium.
Mount St. Mary's (12-4, 6-1 NEC) took an early 10-0 advantage after one and never looked back.
The Mount scored four times in the second and held a 14-0 lead at the break.
After intermission, Mount St. Mary's (MSM) added four goals in the third to extend the lead, 19-0.
In the fourth, third-year Bison
Quai Skeete-Ridley (New Carrollton, Md.) scored the lone goal for HU before The Mount tallied two more goals in the period, 21-1.
Newcomer
Anya Waller (King of Prussia, Pa.) had a match-leading 12 saves in the win.
Saturday (April 30), HU closes out the regular season at LIU. Match time is slated for 1 p.m.
