BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 30, 2022) – Howard University women's lacrosse team fell in its season finale at LIU, 22-4.

LIU (6-11, 5-3 NEC) scored the first seven goals until third-year Bison Quai Skeete-Ridley (New Carrollton, Md.) delivered an unassisted goal and got HU on the board after one, 7-1.

LIU extended its advantage to double-digits before intermission in the second frame, holding a 12-1 lead at the break.

LIU added two more goals after halftime, but Skeete-Ridley scored her second goal on the day off a free position shot, 15-2. LIU closed out the quarter with four unanswered goals, 19-2.

In the fourth, LIU's Samantha Dickerson gave the Sharks a 20-2 advantage, but back-to-back unassisted goals from Skeete-Ridley and fellow classmate Josie Mallory (Charlottesville, Va.) trimmed the deficit, 20-4. In the waning moments, LIU produced two insurance goals to down HU, 22-4.
