NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 16, 2021—Howard's Anzhane' Hutton were selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced. North Carolina A&T State graduate student Chanin Scott and Coppin State junior Aliyah Lawson were selected as the MEAC Co-Players of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, while North Carolina A&T State senior Jayla Jones-Pack was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Hutton (F, 6-0, Fr., Cedar Hill, Texas) notched her third double-double of the season in a win over Delaware State this past Friday, going a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor for 11 points while also grabbing a career-high 15 rebounds. She also had two assists, two blocked shots and a steal.

This is Hutton fourth straight Rookie of the Week and her sixth overall. 

Hutton and the Bison will back in action on Saturday, February 20-21 versus Coppin State in Baltimore, MD.
