WASHINGTON (June 9, 2020) – Howard University broadcast journalism major
Tiffany Hunt conducted a virtual interview with her women's lacrosse teammate
Josie Mallory (Charlottesville, Va.) via Zoom. The interview took place Sunday, May 24.
Mallory is a rising sophomore, majoring in health science. In May, she was named the team's Co-Rookie of the Year during HU Athletics' virtual Bison Awards.
On Feb. 7, Mallory made her collegiate debut where she scored twice against Presbyterian. As the season progressed, Mallory continued to make a name for herself, tallying a team-best eight goals, including her first hat trick versus Delaware State (March 1). The Virginia native also led HU with 12 draw controls in her rookie campaign.
Although the team's season was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Mallory showed promise and looks to build upon her early success into Year Two.
