"Where Are They Now?" Featuring Randell Means

Two-year strong safety works for U.S. Ecology

Randell Means was a strong safety for the Howard University football team where he guided HU to 11 victories during his Bison career (2006 & 2007).
 
After transferring from Ball State as a two-year starter, Means arrived at The Mecca where he racked up 140 tackles (64 solo), including 15 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups and three sacks in 22 games played. In those two seasons, the two-year starter finished among the conference leaders in total tackles.
 
During his senior campaign, Means was chosen to play at the American Heritage Bowl in San Diego, sponsored by the Navy.
 
In Dec. 2008, Means graduated from the Hilltop with a degree in political science and minor in business management.
 
Currently, he is employed by the U.S. Ecology and Environmental Waste Corporation. He was under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for eight months than promoted in July 2019 to corporate headquarters as a Contract Billing Coordinator.
 
Means also briefly served in the Michigan Army National Guard.
