WASHINGTON (December 29, 2020) – Howard University Department of Athletics continued its "Bison 5@5" series where a member from the HU community is asked five questions within five minutes.
This week's guest features senior diver
Christian Nickolas (Brentwood, Calif.) from the women's swimming & diving team, who was interviewed by senior journalism major
Arthur Cribbs.
Nickolas enters her senior season as one of the most decorated divers in program history. In the last two seasons, the California native qualified for the NCAA Diving Championships twice (2019 & 2020) while earning numerous Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) weekly honors.
Out the pool, Nickolas has received several academic honors, including College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team twice (2019 & 2020).
Nickolas will graduate with degree in sports medicine and minor in biology. She chose HU because of its home atmosphere and wanted to continue her athletic career at an HBCU.
