WASHINGTON (October 22, 2020) – Hailing from Chi-Town (Chicago),
Daniel Hernandez was a two-year member of the Howard University men's soccer team (2008 & 2009) where he played under HU alum
Michael Lawrence.
After his collegiate career with the Bison, Hernandez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology (2012) before proceeding to earn his M.Ed. (Master's in Education) in Bilingual and Bicultural Education from DePaul University in Chicago (2016).
Hernandez has been working in education since graduating from The Mecca, teaching Spanish III and Advanced Placement Spanish.
He also established himself as an entrepreneur, becoming the founder of Fayo Bilingual Training Institute. The company specializes in providing interpretation and translation services, along with foreign language instruction for children and adults. Throughout this time, Hernandez also co-founded Visionary Investments.
Currently, Hernandez lives in his hometown and has taken an interest in expanding his linguistic abilities beyond English and Spanish. Furthermore, he began serving as an advisor to young males in the area at the Kappa Leadership Institute.
