(BALTIMORE, MD.) – Despite a game-high 28 points from Maryland native Wayne Bristol Jr., the Howard University men's basketball team still remains defeated in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play with a Monday night 82-75 loss to Coppin State University in Baltimore, Md.
Three other Bison scored in double figures outside of Bristol including
Khalil Robinson with 15 points, Charles "CJ" Williams and
Nate Garvey adding 13 points, respectively.
Coppin retained the lead the entire contest reaching a night-high 15-point deficit at the 3:29 mark of the first half.
At the end of the night Williams was a perfect 3-of-3 from the charity stripe, while Robinson went 2-of-2 from behind the arc.
Howard returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 1, against Morgan State in Burr Gym for alumni weekend.
