WASHINGTON (April 5, 2019) – Howard University women's lacrosse fell to Detroit Mercy (UMD), 23-0, inside Greene Stadium.
UMD kept the pressure on throughout, scoring 12 times in the first half and 11 goals after intermission.
Sophomore
Lailah Robey (Chesapeake Bay, Md.) recorded five draw controls while fellow classmate
Marquia Walker (Bradenton, Fla.) added two draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Defensively, freshman
Andrea Fievre (Snellville, Ga.) registered seven saves and two ground balls.
Detroit Mercy (4-7) had 11 Titans score, led by Lexie Kinmond with six goals.
Sunday (April 7), Howard (0-7) wraps up the weekend with Central Michigan. Match time is scheduled for 11 a.m. inside Greene Stadium.
