Howard Women’s Tennis Shorthanded in Loss to Temple

WASHINGTON, D.C.(February 24, 2019) — Howard women's tennis (1-6) was defeated by Temple University (5-1) on Saturday,  7-0.

The Bison were missing a few players on Saturday. Temple was successful in winning all six singles matches and sweeping the doubles. "Sometimes  you limp into a match and fight as hard as you can," said head coach Larry Strickland. "We will get there. These ladies are keeping their efforts high. We were shorthanded with half the team out."

The Bison travel in March to Orlando, Florida for their next competition.
