ORLANDO, FL (March 12, 2019)--Howard women's tennis earned their second win of the season as they defeated Saint Joseph's (Pa.) at the USTA National Campus on Monday, 5-1. They played again on Tuesday, losing 7-0 to Xavier.
The Bison participated in only singles matches on Monday, winning five of their six matches. Prior to their competition against Saint Joseph's, the Bison had a four-game losing streak where they had been shutout in each contest.
The victory for the Bison was short-lived, as they were shutout in their loss to Xavier. They lost each of their three doubles and their six singles matches.
