TOLEDO, OH -- The Howard University Bison played game two of the Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) Invitational Friday with an 85-65 loss to Robert Morris University at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.
With the loss, Howard falls to 0-4.
Howard's University Charles 'CJ' Williams recorded a game-high 26-points shooting 10-for-17 from the floor and 5-of-9 from the charity stripe.
Williams connected on two free-throw attempts to take an early 14-12 lead at the 12:05 mark when the Colonials went on a 20-4 run to extend the lead 32-18 with seven minutes left in the first half.
The Colonials' (1-3) shooting was on fire from beyond the arc, shooting 6-for-10 to Howard's 1-for-9 in the first half.
Howard was not able to close the gap in the second half as Robert Morris continued to shoot 59 percent (17-of-29) from the floor. The Bison was not able to keep up the pace shooting 44 percent (13-of-29) from the floor.
Kyle Foster joined Williams in double-figure, recording a season-high 15 points, his third time scoring in double figures this season.
RMU held a 32-29 rebound advantage over HU and shot 57 percent from the floor to Howard's 47 percent.
Howard returns to Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio, to compete in their third contest in the 2019 Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational, taking on the host, the University of Toledo Rockets Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
