WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Howard returns to the Mecca for Homecoming versus Norfolk State, Kickoff is scheduled for 1:-5 P.M. at Greene Stadium. The game can be seen on ESPN+ or heard on WHUR.

The Bison has dropped two in a row after a 62-17 loss to Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.

Series History

• Howard leads the all-time series with NSU, 18-7 (with three NSU wins vacated). 
• In a series that dates to 1981, this will be the 29th meeting all-time between the teams.

A win over Norfolk State would...

• Give the Bison the second MEAC win of the season (def. Delaware State 24-9)
• Will put the Bison back in the MEAC Championship race at 2-1

Record Watch

• Senior receiver Kyle Anthony (Miramar, Fla.) is 12 reception shy to become the all-time career leader in Howard history, eclipsing the mark of 184 held by former Bison standout  Gary 'Flea' Harrell. 

General admission tickets to the #Forward homecoming football game are still available through www.BisonTickets.com. We strongly encourage fans to purchase their tickets online. Reserve seating, as well as VIP tent access, is sold out. 

 

To purchase tickets from the box office on the day of the game fans must go to the Burr Gymnasium box office, which is located at Gate 1 from the Greene Parking lot on Gresham St. The box office will open at 11:30 a.m., gameday tickets are $40 for general admission.

 

Homecoming Week Parking

 

The Office of Parking and Transportation Services will implement the following parking lot closures during Howard University's 2019 Homecoming celebration:

• Mackey

Alternative Parking Lots

 The alternative parking lots for October 8 and October 11 are Banneker South, East Towers, Drew Hall, and Georgia Avenue.

 

Shuttle Service Modification

On October 12, there will be no shuttle services provided to the West Campus. The weekend shuttle will operate from 1 p.m.-midnight. Please be aware that shuttle service may be impacted due to the increased volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

 

Howard University announces a strict no-alcohol policy 

 

No alcoholic beverages, marijuana or other drugs may be brought inside the Howard Center tailgate area. Tent searches may be executed if there is reasonable cause to believe that alcohol, marijuana or drugs are present. Anyone apprehended in the tailgate area with an intoxicant, marijuana or other drugs in their possession will be subject to ejection without refund and may have permit privileges to future tailgate game events revoked.
