MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (April 6, 2018) – Howard University Women's Lacrosse dropped its nonconference bout at Central Michigan (CMU), 19-3.
Senior

Jillian Jones led the way for HU. Warren scored twice while the California native added a goal too.
Howard scored a pair of goals to open the second half and trimmed the deficit down to seven, 10-3, but the Chippewas regained the momentum and tallied nine unanswered to close out the match, 19-3.
Defensively, senior
Amerra Sheckles recorded a match-best 12 saves in a losing effort.
Central Michigan took an early 5-0 lead until Warren stopped HU's scoring drought, 5-1. CMU kept the pressure on as they manufactured five more goals before intermission, 10-1.
CMU (6-5) had 12 Chippewas score in the contest, led by Tyra Prince with a match-high three goals.
Sunday (April 8), the Bison take on Detroit Mercy on ESPN3. Match time is set for 11 a.m.
