December 12, 2018 --- The Howard University women's basketball team will continue their road trip with a matchup against the Campbell University Camels on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 11:30 a.m. in Gore Arena.

Howard (5-3) lost its last match against the University of Richmond, 67-60.
Sarah Edmond led the Bison with 19 points. She had three rebounds and shot 7 of 7 from the free throw line.
Jayla Thornton had nine points and three rebounds. Both
Krislyn Marsh and
Asia McCants contributed eight points and three rebounds. The team shot 42.3 percent off 22-52 and 57 percent from downtown.
Game Preview
Campbell heads into the game with an exceptional 7-1 record. The Camels recently defeated William Peach with a 65-36 win. The lead scorer was forward Taya Bolden with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore forward Kyra Davis contributed 10 points and six rebounds.
Campbell leads the Big South conference in scoring defense and rebounding.
The lone loss for the Camels this season came against Old Dominion in the season opening game. The Bison are looking to put an end to Campbell's seven week winning streak. In last year's matchup, Howard won in overtime, 63-61, in Burr Gym.
