Nicholas Askew and the Howard University Swim team sit in first place at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by Randolph-Macon.
Through 10 events, the Bison hold a 37-point lead over Washington College.
Freshman
Darrin Asphall continues to rewrite the record book, setting a new mark in the men's 500 freestyle (4:41.39).
Sophomore
Sidrell Williams finished first in the men's 50-yard freestyle with a 20.79 time.
The men's 400 medley relay team of Williams, sophomore
Don Brazelton, freshman
William Smith, and junior
Alexander Barnes took second in the event, but set a new program record with a 3:27.38 mark.
Collectively, the Bison had seven new Top Ten entries while posting 35 season-best times.
HU looks to hold the top spot as they wrap up the weekend Saturday.
